Ezran Mohtar- Guitarist
Muhd Hakimi – Bassist
Faizul – Keyboardist

All of the ques is being answered by Ayeen(Vocalist)

Pizzza: What type of band are you?

We define ourselves as a six piece Pop Punk/Pop Rock band.
We typically merge pop melodies with speedy punk tempos, chord changes, synthesizers
and loud guitars.

Pizzza: Tell us the brief history of your band.

The band was formed in 2007. We have known each other since kindergarten, and the
idea of forming a band came from our vocalist (Ayeen) and also our guitarist
(Aiman). Later in 2008, Ezran filled in the role as the lead guitarist while
(Putera) became the drummer. In March 2009, (Hakimi), our current bassist player,
joined the band and completed our lineup. Our first gig was at SMK Bangsar with
great bands such as Bunkface & Couple. After that, we played various gigs around
Kuala Lumpur, Subang & Damansara, mostly consisting of prom nights and birthday
events. At the end of 2009, (Faizul) joined the band as the keyboardist. He first
played alongside us at SMKS9 Shah Alam Prom Night. We’ve since then released a demo
in 2010 with 2 songs, and a new single callinged ‘Hilangkan’ later in 2011.

His first show with us was at SMKS9 Shah Alam Prom night. We’ve released a demo with 2 songs in 2010 and later in 2011, we’ve released a new single which is called ‘Hilangkan’.

Pizzza: What’s your influences?

We are mainly influenced by our local music scene. We look up to bands such as An
Honest Mistake, Hello, Is This The Band? , Dichi Michi, The Azenders and also Handle
with Care. International bands such as A Day to Remember and Paramore also play a
part.

Pizzza: What are the band’s dreams and goals?

We want to connect with people through our music, and encourage people to listen and
support their local bands. We want to be able to expand our music overseas, and
hopefully be known internationally one day.

Pizzza: Who writes the songs, what are they about?

All of the lyrics were written by me, while Aiman composes and arranges the song.
Each of our songs have different meanings. For example, our song ‘Dengarlah’ is
about a person who is trying to change to become a better person. As for
‘Hilangkan’, it’s about
how we deal with people who don’t believe in our potential and how we to face our
fears.

Pizzza: Where do you guys record you songs?

Our first demo was recorded at ‘Juxta Art Production’ in Selayang and as for our new
single, which is ‘Hilangkan’ was recorded at Green House Music Studio and mixed at
21:05 Productions.

Pizzza: How do you promote your band and shows?

We promote our band through Facebook. And as for shows, we would just update our gig
dates by using the Band Page tab. By the using the Band page tab, it would
automatically update our next gig locations as it also provides information for
people to check out the bands that we’ll be playing with.

Pizzza: Describe your show, visual and musically

For us, showmanship and expressing ourselves on stage is really important.
Musically, we would try to keep a balanced sound on stage. Aside from that, we will
always try something new on stage in the purpose of entertaining the crowd.
Pizzza: Tell us a story about a day in your life.

We would spend most our time ‘Munkee Studio’ where we would work on our songs and
stage performance. This studio is located at Section 9, Shah Alam. Since all of us
are still studying,
during our free time, we would normally just hang out in the studio.
Aside from that, we would help to clean up and manage the studio.

Pizzza: What inspires you to do what you do?

We were inspired by bands before us like Bunkface,Butterfingers and also Hujan.
We’re really passionate about music, and the people around us have really motivated
us to do the best in what we do.The critics and advice that we recerived from the
audiance and friends really inspire us to be brave
for the obsticles ahead.

Pizzza: What local band do you inspire the most?

We would pick Bunkface. They’ve won various awards and achieved so much at such a
young age. We enjoy listening to their songs and what we love the most about them is
that their live shows have so much energy which really moves the crowd. The way they
entertain the crowd really inspires us to do just the same for our live shows.

Pizzza: What’s new in the recording of your music?

Recently we’ve realesed a new single which is called ‘Hilangkan’.Currently we’re
promoting the song by playing it live. We’ve been receriving
good reponse from the audience and we’re planning to record one more single in
November.

Pizzza: What’s the best and worst thing about playing gig?

The best thing about playing a gig is gaining exposure and experience, and being
given the chance to show off our talent. The worst thing that could happen during a
gig is getting a crowd that is not supportive, or being given bad stage equipments
at the venue.

5-time Grammy Award winner LADY GAGA is set to make her triumphant return to the stage this Spring with The Born This Way Ball. In this brand new tour, Gaga will perform her latest album Born This Way as well as music from both The Fame and The Fame Monster. The Born This Way Ball, produced globally by Live Nation, will begin on April 27th, 2012 in Seoul, South Korea, and now includes a performance at Bangkok’s Rajamangala National Stadium on May 25th, 2012 at 20.30hrs and Singapore May 28th at Indoor Stadium.

Lady Gaga’s last tour – The Monster Ball – captivated audiences around the globe, receiving rave reviews in every city. The Sun called it “the best live show you will see this year,” and the Pollstar Concert Industry Awards named it the Major Tour of the Year.

“The Haus of Gaga and I have worked for months conceiving a spectacular stage,” said Mother Monster. “THE BORN THIS WAY BALL is an Electro-Metal Pop-Opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.”

The Born This Way Ball will be Lady Gaga’s first tour since the release of her album Born This Way (Streamline/Konlive/Interscope), which has sold nearly 6 million copies worldwide since its release in May 2011. The album is the follow-up to back-to-back Grammy Award-winning albums 2009’s The Fame Monster, and 2008’s The Fame. Combined, The Fame and The Fame Monster have sold 15 million albums worldwide, while Lady Gaga’s hit singles have combined sales of over 65 million worldwide.

Gaga was named Forbes’ Most Powerful Woman in the World 2011 and was included in Time’s annual “The 2010 Time 100″ list of the most influential people in the world. With over 2.2 billion combined views of all her videos online, Lady Gaga is one of the biggest living people on Facebook with over 47 million ‘likes’ and is #1 on Twitter with nearly 19 million followers. Lady Gaga is the only artist in the digital era to top the 5 million sales mark with her first two hits.

She started the show off with the first track from her new Goodbye Lullaby album, “Black Star” continued by “What The Hell”, “Sk8er Boi”, “I Always Get What I Want” and “Alice”. After that, she slowed things down a bit with “When You’re Gone” and “Wish You Were Here” before leaving the stage and letting the her band take over the show by playing an instrumental version of “Unwanted”.

Later, the crowd went wild when she started singing her most recent No 1 hit “Girlfriend”. It was a surprise when she started singing the chorus of “Airplanes” made famous by Hayley Williams of Paramore, and it quickly lead to “My Happy Ending”. Next, she sang “Don’t Tell Me” and “Smile” before introducing the members of her band and pretended to end the concert with “I’m With You”, which made a portion of the crowd leave the stadium.

It was dark for at least 5 whole minutes, but the fans kept on chanting for more and when Avril finally came back, she picked up a guitar and got her guitarist Jim to take the mic, which is when they started playing Foster The People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”. Then she sang one of the songs from her current album “I Love you” and finally ended her concert with the song that started her music career: “Complicated”.

There were several moments during the concert that Avril paused singing and let the crowd take over. Unlike her last concert which included backup dancers and a hip-hop intermission, this concert was all about the music, and the crowd was extremely pleased about this, evidenced by the amount of cheering and screams heard throughout the entire concert.

The concert was organised by JS Concert Productions and sponsored by TuneTalk.

Formed in the summer of 1996, Sum 41 took its name from the fact that its four young members formed it exactly 41 days into the summer of that year. Its blend of infectious melodies with monster riffs from a mighty guitar section and manic rhythm proved irresistible to young people weaned on Green Day and Blink 182.

Sum 41 released its first album, Half Hour Of Power, in 2000. It then hit the charts with its follow-up, All Killer, No Filler, produced by Jerry Finn, who previously worked with Green Day and Blink 182. Its first single, Fat Lip, was a smash on MTV and radio. The band’s other popular songs include Still Waiting, What I Believe, In Too Deep, and Rhythms.

After a four-year break from the studio, Sum 41 currently consists of members Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Tom Thacker (lead guitar), Jason McCaslin (bass guitar) and Steve Jocz (drums) crashed back onto the scene with Screaming Bloody Murder last year.

In short, Sum 41 adds up to one of the most anticipated concerts of the year with supporting acts, Bunkface and One Buck Short!
